• Starting late in 2013, I started to do some abstract art works.  Most 76 x 102 cm size canvas or 92 x 92 cm size canvas. 

Using acrylic paint and some mixed media, I am endeavoring to put some interesting colours shapes and textures onto the canvases and let them take shape as I continue through the process of creating them. Each one develops  its own characteristics and recognisable images that can be interpreted by the viewer into whatever their mind sees.  As I am painting  I usually have a visualised idea in my head. Some develop into something that is clearly recognisable and others, not quite so much. 

• As I have progressed toward late 2015, my art has developed into a series of floral semi abstract paintings that I am continuing to work with.

• A portrayal of natures colour and beauty  in flowing thick acrylic paint, ink and some mixed media. In these art works, the aesthetic is as important as the representation and the emotional development of the artwork through brushstrokes and colour is an integral part of the process. 

• 2022-23 - I have started working found objects; bits of fabric, paper etc to adhere to the canvas to compliment my acrylic rendering in expressionalism style of artworks.
